Lisa Acosta, RN, is a highly experienced nurse with a remarkable career spanning over 30 years in the healthcare field. Throughout her extensive journey, Lisa has dedicated the past 15 years to specializing in hospice care, particularly in operations. Her unwavering commitment and passion for improving end-of-life care have driven her to establish a successful result-driven company. Having spent a significant portion of her career in hospice operations, Lisa possesses a deep understanding of the unique challenges and intricacies within this specialized field. Her invaluable expertise has enabled her to guide and mentor hospice organizations, helping them navigate through complex operational issues, enhance patient care, and optimize their overall performance.
Andrea Benavidez, M.A. is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Transcend Hospice, where she leads organizational growth, strategic partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen patient care and expand community impact.
Andrea earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio and brings more than 12 years of experience in the home health and hospice industry. Throughout her career, she has established herself as a results-driven operational and business development leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, driving sustainable growth, and successfully increasing company census.
Known for her collaborative leadership style and strategic vision, Andrea is passionate about fostering meaningful relationships with healthcare providers, community partners, and interdisciplinary teams to improve access to compassionate, high-quality hospice care. She is committed to advancing innovative initiatives that support organizational excellence while ensuring patients and families receive exceptional end-of-life care.

Cheyenne Acosta has proudly been a part of the Transcend Hospice family for the past six years. Throughout her journey with the company, she has gained valuable experience in multiple areas of hospice operations, serving as a Human Resources Assistant, Intake Coordinator, Patient Care Rep, and Clinical Coordinator before stepping into her current role as Operations Manager.
Her diverse background has given her a well-rounded understanding of hospice care and the importance of supporting both patients and the dedicated teams who serve them. Cheyenne is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture, improving operational excellence, and ensuring compassionate, high-quality care remains at the heart of everything Transcend Hospice does.
